MMCC runs a Family Medicine Residency for Cambodian Doctors.
This three-year full-time program trains Cambodian Medical School Graduates to become experienced doctors who provide comprehensive and excellent healthcare for the whole family. Residents in training spend most of their time working alongside our (Khmer language speaking) expatriate and Cambodian attending doctors helping to care for patients in our outpatient department and inpatient ward.
MMCC has a partnership with Christian Medical College of Vellore in India who developed the curriculum for the International Postgraduate Diploma of Family Medicine. This program was launched in 2020 and our national resident doctors-in-training now have the opportunity to study for this diploma, along with their clinical training at MMCC. The full course is offered online, endorsed by the International Christian Medical and Dental Association and accredited by Loma Linda University in the United States.
Since the program began, MMC has trained 21 Cambodian Christian doctors.
