“I am happy to be a Legacy (estate) donor to MMCC. I’ve been an annual donor since 2005, when I first learned of their vision. I have watched as the work at MMCC has unwaveringly lived out their mission. Knowing the names, faces, and challenges of some of the workers has made this work personal for me. MMCC’s missional focus has given me great passion for seeing this work continue beyond my lifetime. It is thrilling to be part of what God is doing and will be doing in Cambodia.”

— Rosalie Talarzyk, MMCC Supporter & Estate Donor

HOW TO INCLUDE MMCC IN YOUR ESTATE PLANS

There are several simple and tax-smart ways to make a lasting gift to MMCC:

BEQUESTS (Gifts in your Will or Trust)

Name MMCC as a beneficiary of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other needs are met. Talk to your estate planning professional about how you can include MMCC in your estate for its general use.  Please be sure to include the following information:

Mercy Medical Center Cambodia, Inc.
PO Box 3014
Westerville, OH 43086 United States
(EIN 27-4435382)

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS

You can name MMCC as a beneficiary of:

  • Retirement accounts (IRA, 401k, etc.)
  • Life insurance policies
  • Bank or brokerage accounts (using a POD or TOD designation)

These gifts typically do not require an attorney and can often be updated online.

QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS (QCDs)

If you are 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 per year directly from your IRA to MMCC. A QCD counts toward your required minimum distribution (at age 73) and may reduce your taxable income.

GIFTS OF APPRECIATED ASSETS

Donating stocks, mutual funds, real estate or other appreciated assets may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value.

(Much of the above information is specific to United States citizens. If you are from another country please contact us for information relevant to you.)

WE ARE HERE TO HELP

“By 2045, an estimated $84 trillion will transfer between generations in the U.S. alone (National Christian Foundation). The most tax-efficient way to move these resources to Heaven is by giving to ministries with lasting Kingdom impact—like MMCC, where reproducing healthy disciples of Jesus is the mission. As Randy Alcorn writes in The Treasure Principle, ‘You can’t take it with you, but you can send it on ahead.’”
